To: ham-digital@ucsd.edu Hello digital radio amateurs, Do you have an FAQ? If so, please email it direct to me a.s.a.p. (And if you don't have one, please say so, then let me get back to y'all with a few more questions). I'm sorry about the anonymous posting (which you normally only see on "alt.sex.abuse.recovery" and the like), but in my case, it is because I am only getting Internet e-mail and my BBS does not receive your newsgroup. As such, I can't even post to it except this roundabout way. Also I have no way of reading replies posted to this newsgroup. I will ask my sysop to carry you, then hope for the best. Till then, please get in touch with me directly by emailing to mroberts%sec21@ax.apc.org. Thanks. (Mark Roberts) * OLX 2.1 TD * Please reply by e-mail: sec21!mroberts@ax.apc.org. To: ham-digital@ucsd.edu Thank you for posting the text of 94-59 under another subject. My question remains, however, as to if someone knows how to find 94-59 on fcc.gov. I would like to find such items myself and spent quite some time going from directory to directory there without finding it. Perhaps some items will just not show up there? 73, Steve NO8M.#NEOH.OH.USA.NA ag807@cleveland.freenet.edu ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 2 Jul 94 15:41:13 -0500 From: news.delphi.com!usenet@uunet.uu.net Subject: Mobitex chips? I don't have there phone number handy, but they do have a 1-800 number that you can get from 1-800-555-1212. I think they are in North Carolina. These chips implement most of the physical layer functions and some of the link layer also. I had no trouble making it work; haven't used it much lately... Just one comment from your note, I hope you aren't really planning to put the PSK modem IN your 1270; it won't fit and isn't designed to. Stick it in another small box.
